Great way to quickly record and upload videos to YouTube on the go.
YouTube released YouTube Capture for iOS today adding yet another way to post videos on YouTube for an iOS device. iOS has had the ability to upload to YouTube directly within it’s Photos app but now YouTube is making it even easier and more feature rich by letting the user do color correction, stabilization, trimming and even add a snazzy music track.
Once you have set all that up YouTube Capture can post a link to this video to Google+, Facebook and Twitter automatically.
The video preview screen has a few buttons that can be pressed: front / rear camera flip, flash, previous videos, start / stop record and options.
The options screen area “Accounts” lets you connect to YouTube, Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
“Record” can force landscape lock and also begin recording when you rotate the phone to landscape. This will save us all from watching your video that you recorded in portrait that sooooo many people do and dont realize looks bad on YouTube.
“Upload” lets you select the quality from either SD or HD, limited to 720p (HD), no 1080p here.
Once you have finished recording your video you can select it’s privacy settings, which social networks you want to record to and what special effects you want to have added to the video.
After your video is uploaded you can manage your existing videos on YouTube and make any additional changes such as description, privacy and tags. Category and License are also options that can be changed here.
